The Dynatone is a ~20W-per-channel solid-state Class AB amplifier that uses an op-amp-based voltage gain stage. Its EQ section functions more like a traditional graphic equalizer, with LCR filters tied to the bass and treble controls to create band-pass filtering, rather than the shelving filters typically found in integrated amplifiers.
